House rules and emergency numbers
In the House rules tile you set out what is and isn’t allowed in your rental, briefly and in plain language: smoking, pets, parties, quiet hours, rubbish. The emergency numbers are listed below. In Belgium that is 112 for ambulance and fire and 101 for the police. That way guests know straight away what’s expected of them and who to call if something goes wrong.

Tips for house rules guests actually read
- Keep it short: six to ten rules
- Say what guests can do, not just what they can’t
- Explain why if it helps (“the neighbours go to bed early”)
- Put the same rules in your listing, so there are no surprises
Frequently asked questions
Should house rules be in my listing?
It’s wise to put the main rules in your listing too, so guests know them before they book. For your platform’s own rules, check its help pages.
