The NFC card: your guidebook in one tap
The LogîsKey card has an NFC chip and a QR code. Guests hold their phone against the card or scan the code, and your digital guidebook opens straight away in the browser. The chip only holds a short link, so the card keeps working when you change your guide, and you can link it to another property.

Why NFC as well as a QR code?
Tapping is faster than scanning: no camera to open, no aiming, no light needed. Anyone without NFC scans the QR code on the same card. That way it works for every guest.
Which phones does it work on?
| Device | NFC | QR code |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone XS and newer | Yes, no app needed: hold the phone against the card | Yes, with the camera |
| iPhone 7 to iPhone X | Via the NFC reader in Control Centre (iOS 14 or newer) | Yes, with the camera |
| Android with NFC | Yes, if NFC is turned on in settings | Yes, with the camera or Google Lens |
| Android without NFC | No | Yes |
What’s on the chip?
Only a short LogîsKey link with a unique code. No wifi password, no address, no guest data. That link points to the guide of the property you link the card to. If you unlink the card, it shows a message saying it isn’t active yet.

- On the table or kitchen counter, where guests put their things down when they arrive
- Next to the router, for anyone looking for the wifi password
- By the front door, with check-out in mind
- In the folder or drawer where the paper welcome book used to be

Frequently asked questions
Does the card have a battery?
No. An NFC chip gets its power from the phone held against it.
Can someone overwrite the card?
An NFC chip can be locked after it has been written, so no one can replace the link. If you use your own cards, lock them after writing.
Does the card connect guests to the wifi automatically?
No, the card opens the guide. There, guests copy the password with one tap. To connect automatically, use a wifi QR code.
